Whether your putting on a show for your pole school, pole dancing club, or even your partner, choosing a theme for your set can add that extra spice to your performance.
By choosing a costume and taking on a character, you can tailor your act to suit. You could tailor an army girl act by doing moves like the helicopter and dancing to “spitfire” by the prodigy. Or a cat girl act could involve floorwork and crawling moves.
One thing to look out for is that your themed outfit does not look too “costumey”. What we mean by that is that you shoudn’t go out and buy a full on halloween costume! A subtle suggestion of a theme can work just as well.
